It’s a busy and exciting Christmas at the Oving Cow Shed.
Our little milk elves have been working hard to bring a bit of festive sparkle to The Cow Shed with plenty of goodies to enjoy throughout December and on those much needed family walks to clear the cobwebs over the Christmas break.
Here’s a quick run down of what’s been happening and what you can look forward to in the days and weeks ahead.
We kicked off Christmas in style at the Oving Jubilee Hall Christmas fair. Our elves had lots of fun decorating the shed and our living Christmas tree in preparation and it was the perfect stage to launch our Christmas milkshake flavours, delicious chcolate brownies and limited edition Christmas bottles – details below. It was a busy day, and everyone had a great time.
Christmas bottles
Our brilliant designer Mark has created us some limited-edition Christmas milk bottles, which would also make a perfect treat for Santa on Christmas Eve filled with some delicious milk or milkshake! These are in stock now and can be purchased through the vending machine for a limited period. Once they’re gone, they’re gone so grab yours today!
Christmas milkshake flavours
Our seasonal flavours for the Christmas period are Chocolate Orange and Gingerbread. They’re seriously yummy and available in our 500ml and 1 litre reusable bottles or you can use our 500ml cups so you can enjoy them immediately.
V2 Radio advent competition
We’re taking part in the V2 Radio advent calendar competition. On our allocated day (23rd December) you can win a hamper of Woodhorn Farm and Organic Herd goodies including our milk (2 x 1L) and milkshakes (500ml of each flavour), Organic Herd cheese, Organic Herd butter, Organic Herd chocolate, eggs, coffee and a cuddly cow – just in time for the big day! Chocolate brownies now in stock
We are delighted to be stocking Carla’s Kitchen delicious brownies through our vending machine. Carla’s been perfecting the recipes for 10 years and the proof is definitely in the pudding!
We will be stocking new flavours every week so keep your eye on our socials but this week’s flavours are:
- Mint Aero
- Biscoff & White Chocolate
- Cadbury’s Twirl
Be warned though – they are addictive and delicious with a glass of cold milk, milkshake, hot chocolate or a coffee.

If you’re visiting over the Christmas period, please be aware that we’ll be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. Othwerwsie our usual opening hours will apply.
