Former Herd Manager, Graham, is now running the milk vending operation

Until recently I managed the dairy herd. I will be operating and maintaining the pasteuriser and all equipment associated with processing, bottling and selling milk. I will also continue to assist the dairy farm staff on a part-time basis.
I have worked for The Woodhorn Group for 20 years.
Woodhorn is an organic farm and cares for the environment. No chemical sprays or artificial fertilisers are used on the land. In addition we have wildlife corridors and areas planted with species to benefit many species of wildlife, particularly birds. Our first priority at the dairy farm is animal welfare and management of the livestock is based on organic principles. Cows are free to roam the grassland during the grazing season and are not subject to intensive management systems during the winter.
My interests include bird watching (I am a member of the Hawk and Owl Trust) and walking. Also reading (member of the J Conrad Society) and collecting 1st editions. I am a member of the Tate and National Gallery and a Friend of the Royal Academy. I’m also a member of the Turner Society.
I don’t have any claims to fame I’m afraid.
