Matt is our Farm Manager and so he oversees all the farming operations, including the dairy
My role as farm manager is to oversee the whole farming team but reporting as a senior member of our management team. I’m responsible for all farming operations from dairy to arable, making sure we are sustainable (and profitable!).
I’ve worked for Woodhorn for 3 years now.
What is important to me is that we have an exceptionally good team from management to people working around the business that have pride and care in what they do. This means Woodhorn can keep growing and investing in the future to give people and the business the best.
All sorts, I love walking and cycling in my spare time to keep fit, but, most of all spending time with my children and dog when I get a chance.
New things encountered this year have been geocaching and English Heritage.
No claim to fame as yet unfortunately! But I have been on TV, so enjoyed my 5 minutes of fame. I’d have to say my special talent is taking control of something and making it better!
