Ottis is our Herd Manager, one of our most demanding jobs, because our ladies need milking 365 days a year!
What does your role entail?
I manage the day-to-day running of the dairy at Reeds Farm making sure that all of our cows are milked, fed, happy and healthy.
How long have you worked at Woodhorn Farm?
I joined in early July 2023, so am very new to the role and the team!
What makes it such a special place to work?
Joining The Woodhorn Group has been exciting, and it’s great to have the opportunity to be part of a progressive dairy farm that’s striving to be more sustainable every year. Working with this small and friendly team in such a lovely area of West Sussex is a bonus too.
When you’re not working, what will we find you doing?
In my spare time I love a bit of rugby and cricket, and enjoy being out in the country with my two dogs too.
Any claims to fame or special talents to share?
I’ve driven around the Top Gear track – great fun!
